Raising Seller Fees

TrueFacet, the online luxury marketplace for watches and jewelry just announced that it will be raising it’s fees as of May 1st from 15% to 18%. Below is the email sent to sellers on their platform.

“Dear TrueFacet Seller,
Thank you for being a valued member of the TrueFacet community.  We look forward to continuing to do business with you.
We wanted to let you know that we will be increasing the service fees (“Service Fees”) that we charge to sellers who use the TrueFacet online marketplace to list their jewelry and watches (“Site”) from 15% to 18%.
This price increase will go into effect on May 1st, 2018.  The Service Fees will not be modified for those items that were listed or consigned prior to the date that the modified Service Fees come into effect. Any items that you list through the Site on or after May 1st, 2018 will constitute acceptance of the revised Service Fees.
If you do not agree to the modified Service Fees, you should no longer use the Site to sell your jewelry and watches.  TrueFacet reserves the right to change the Service Fees at any time, and we want to provide sellers with adequate notice of any changes to the Service Fees before becoming effective, by way of e-mail communications to you and by posting any Service Fee changes on the Site.
If you have any questions, please contact TrueFacet customer service at 1-800-690-3736.
Yours Truly,
The TrueFacet Team”

Wow, there are so many other options out there, pretty ballsy move on their part.
