$1.1 million dollars in jewelry and watches were stolen, one Rolex had a GPS tracker.

On August 1st, NBC New Bay Area reported that robbers of a high end jewelry store in San Ramon, Ca we arrested after stealing $1.1 million dollars in jewelry and watches. Their downfall? One of the Roles watches had a GPS tracker in it! Genius!

I have had several conversations with luxury resale business owners who are wanting something to put into their bags so in case of a robbery, they can track where the bags are. What I don’t know is what type of tech it is, yet but if it’s small enough to fit into a watch, bags have to be next!
