What’s Going On With Vaunte.com?


So, there’s a lot of unhappy customers over on Vaunte.com. Sellers are not receiving their money or being able to use credits on the website. Their “Contact Us” link works intermittently, they’ve deleted their Instagram page months ago and the rest of their Social Media accounts haven’t been updated for quite awhile. The last update with a new closet was March 10th. Facebook is the only social media account still up and it’s become a place for negative press. Read the thread on PurseBlog.com here.

Vaunte Contact UsSo here’s my back story with Vaunte.com. I started selling a few items about a year ago and at first the only real issue I had was that they keep your funds for 30 days. Then about two months in they changed my profile picture without my consent or knowledge. The only way I found out is when they sent an email and my closet, among others were being featured.

Now as much as I would like to think I’m a decent looking girl, I look nothing like Nadja Bender and it was bad business for them to change my profile pic without my knowledge.

Fast forward to 2015 and it seems that Vaunte.com is struggling to say the least. I wanted to know what was going on and when I reached out  through their website, I wasn’t able to get anywhere so I did the next best thing. I emailed through a previous contact that I had when I sold on their website, support@vaunte.com and asked them if they were still in business as I have several Chanel bags and was interested in selling on their website.

First I received the requisite generic email and then two minutes later I received the below:

Hi Deanna,

Yes, we have moved our operations to the west coast but we are definitely still growing Vaunte. Please let me know more about the bags you have and we can go from there. Thanks!


Would they have responded if I reached out and asked them if they were still in business? My bet is no.

Update: A woman who had a less than stellar experience with Vaunte posted on their Facebook page wanting to know why she is unable to withdraw her funds and when she reaches out to the company, she cannot get a response. I suggested she email the address support@vaunte.com. Within two days my comment was deleted.

I have no tolerance for companies that cannot be honest with their customers and when things get a little hairy, they delete. Not cool.

    When was the last time you had any contact? How long ago did you sell on the Vaunte platform? Word has it that On Que Style bought them so I would try reaching out to them and see what happens.

    I am owed about $2500.00 for fine jewlery that I sold on Vaunte.
    I want in on the class action. I want the money that is owed to me!
    And to add insult to injury- the jewelry I sold belonged to my mother who recently passed away. Now I don’t have this family heirloom or the money that some customer somewhere paid for it!
    This company is deceitful, dishonest and despicable.

      I would try reaching out to On Que Style as word has it, they’ve purchased Vaunte (should be with their bad debts too). Let me know what happens.

    After contacting them I was told I’d be paid through PayPal and,to give them my PayPal info. I still have not received anything, they still have my money. All of my attempts to contact them are being completely ignored.

      Make sure you are keeping screen shots of all your conversations for your records. I know OnQueStyle out of Corona Del Mar purchased Vaunte, have you tried contacting them?

    they have more then $4,000 of my money. Wont let me withdraw it and wont answer. Its been three months now.

      I’m so sorry. I’ve heard rumblings of a class action lawsuit against them as you are not alone.
