Holiday Shopping Safely Online

Now that we’re in the thick of the holiday shopping season I wanted to reach out and share a couple of things that I think may be of use to you (and your wallet)! If you are more of a Target shopper during this season, you may want to check out what specific deals with coupons they have available to you. If you do want to check it out, you can see it here over at

First off, I know how much fun it is to shop for all your friends and families and while everything is just a bit sweeter during the holidays, the scammers are out in full force. If you are shopping online, especially on Facebook or Instagram, take a few precautions before you start sending your money to people you don’t even know. However, online shopping can definitely provide some perfect gifts for your family and friends, especially if you try bargain shopping and get some great deals too!

  1. Know who you’re buying from. Ask questions, get their contact info and do research before you buy.
  2. ALWAYS pay by credit card. AMEX cards Canada, Barclays, whatever credit card you want to use as long as it is a credit card. NO Friends and Family, e-transfer, nothing. Trust your gut and be smart.
  3. Make sure what you’re purchasing is authentic. I have recently seen a slew of sellers making their own authentication certificates and including them with fake items. Again, do your research about the seller and the item you’re interested in.

FAKE – See how easy it is to make? I created this in less than 10 minutes!

Pretty much every store, closet or page is having a sale right now so there are quite a few really good deals to be had but, if you wait until after Christmas, this is when you can save a ton of money. If you find an item you really are in love with a great price, don’t be crazy, but it now but if you can hold off for a couple of weeks, cha-ching!

On a personal note, since accepting the position with Entrupy, I have been crazy busy and my time management skills have gone to crap but I’m getting better! Not really much is going on right now due to the holidays and I never want to post things unless they have value to you so while i may be a bit quiet on the blog for the next couple of weeks, I’m usually always on Instagram so follow me there.

Here’s a little hint of something I’ve been working on with Christina Samoylov of Designer Vault! More information will be forthcoming but if you have ever thought of starting a designer resale business or if you currently have one and want to see it grow, stay tuned!

Until next time, Cheers!
